To provide the best possible image quality, digital files should be cropped to the largest size needed and submitted to us at 300 PPI (pixels per inch). When multiple print sizes of an image are required, smaller sizes will be cropped from the same file according to their proportional sizes (5x5, 5x7 or 8x10 aspect ratio).
For example: when ordering 2 different aspect ratios, be aware of the difference in shape when creating your file.
The aspect ratio is the relationship of an image's width to height, or its proportions. Many digital cameras produce files with an aspect ratio of 4:3. But many common photo print sizes have a different aspect ratio. For example, a 4 by 6 print has an aspect ratio of 3:2; an 8 by 10 has an aspect ratio of 4:5.
